50-50 Reunion

As the 50th graduating class of New Concord High School approaches the 50th year anniversary of our graduation, our reunion committee is putting the finishing touches on the plan for our next reunion.

Our 50th reunion is scheduled to be held Friday night, August 6, 2010. The all-classes reunion is scheduled for Saturday beginning at 2 p.m. and we are the featured class leading the program. You should have received your invitation letter by now. If not, you can read it here. You can also print the questionaire in PDF format to be sent to Russell Hardy.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the "Days Inn" Cambridge, Ohio - I-70 & State Rt 209 Exit 178 for out-of-town class members for our 50th Reunion, Aug. 6th & 7th 2010. The phone number: 740-432-5691, Fax: 740-432-3526, E-Mail: Sopkodon@wynhg.com. Reservations are under the name of "New Concord Class of 60" or you can give them my name as well, Barbara Gutridge. Group rate is $65.00 + $8.45 tax = $73.45 per night, regularly $ 85.59.

This includes a continental breakfast and use of their meeting room (no extra cost) which opens into the lounge/bar. Local class members can come in on Sunday morning and enjoy the continental breakfast and visit with you before you leave for home (no extra cost). Each room has a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot & hairdryer. There is an outside pool. Bob Evans is next door and there are several other restaurants near by.

Reservations need to be made before July 15th. Otherwise, the rooms will not be available after that date.We hope you will be happy with our selection. The old Holiday Inn that is now the Ramada Inn at the Airport exit, Zanesville has changed hands and is not a very clean place anymore. They are also in financial difficulties. We have been advised by local tourism and government offices that it may not be in operation by August. This is the reason for the change.
